National conference on Subject-Education Knowledge Education Knowledge for Religious Content and Holly Quran in Primary School

With emphasis on religious education and Holly Quran in Primary education, the National conference on Subject-Education Knowledge; Education Knowledge for Religious Content and Holly Quran in Primary School, were held in May 2018 at the FTEU Qom campus. Prof. Khanifar, the president of FTEU, Dr. Saki vice president for Research and Technology and Dr. Zarei, Director of Qom campuse were present in this conference.

The purpose of this conference was to create opportunities for reviewing and interacting with experts, capacity building for content provision and production, and the provision of scientific attention to the necessity of producing, disseminating and creating opportunities for the professional development of faculty members in the field of religious content education and Holly Qur'an. in this seminar Prof. Khanifar pointed on the dimensions and effects of the Holy Qur'an, and Dr Saki emphasized on the essentiality of the content education and research in this regard.

At this conference, Dr Zarei, the director of FTEU Qom campus considered the conference as an action taken to improve the quality and promotion of  this field. he said that in all universities that have religious education, Islamic education is focused, but the more important part is content production and content production training. Referring to FTEU as a mission-oriented university, he emphasized the importance of religious education and the Qur'an, and stated: "Religious and Qur'an education is the teaching of Islamic beliefs and religious values." He said that the education of our children with based on religious values ​​is one of the main missions of the education system.

It is worth noting that effective teaching strategies, educational design, evaluation, designing a learning unit, utilizing information and communication technology, the role of internship and apprenticeship in professional development, teaching patterns for content education, and patterns for developing curricula related to Content education in religious and Quran education  was the primary focus of the conference.
