Today, fortunately, we have outstanding role models in our culture to follow. Our martyrs are one of the greatest patterns who gave their life for the glory of the nation; we have these role models in our society, before our eyes. Another point is the lucrative science. In the educational plans of the country, beneficial science and useful knowledge should be pursued. It is said that the education system should be reformed, well, one of the most important reforms is about the knowledge taught here, it should be useful knowledge; the youth should use this knowledge to improve his life and his community. This is a lucrative science. Lucrative science is the one that direct us toward the goals and paves the way; this is the lucrative science. Factors that give incentive, help us flourish, empower the capacities, this is the lucrative science. One example of this lucrative sciences is the knowledge of national experiences and honors of the country, and the lessons of the history, it is also one of the forms of lucrative science. In a word, the lucrative science is the one that boost our capacities. Education system is one of the few first-rate departments that plays significant roles in the development of the country; education is very important.

 

Well, the system of education has an opportunity that no other departments have; this opportunity is the twelve years of education period from elementary school to high school, There is no such an opportunity available to any other departments; this is the best opportunity to educate the values ​​and the proper transfer of national ideals; this opportunity is the best to institutionalize the national identity in children, the future men and women of this country; this is a unique opportunity; this opportunity is available for the system of education. Both thought and motive take shape in these twelve years; the direction of life, the motives, ideals and orientations all get shape for our youth and teenagers, during this twelve years through being in classrooms and hearing from teachers. See how important this is, that is, the future of the country would be shaped during these twelve years. Well, the system of education needs to be renovated. It certainly needs to be renovated, because not only it is worn out, but also it has been flawed since the first day it just came into being. It has had some basic defects since the first day that it was new and not old or damaged. Those defects are more apparent today. The solution of this required transformation is, in the first place, the "Transformation Document"; this Transition Document is ready to be applied now.

 

The Minister of education noted that the Ministry is trying to apply this document; I think these efforts are among the most required actions to be taken. As it was reported to me, less than 10% of the content of the transformation document has been realized, or implemented, while many years have passed since the adoption of the document.Very little work has been done in this field; it must be taken into consideration. The document is just a piece of paper in itself; it must be applied to work. Of course, providing the transformation document was a vital requirement, and the content of the document was written professionally and, as expressed by education experts many of whom were involved in the preparation of this document themselves, it has a very high standard; and is solid and desirable; so it must be put into action. What I request the education system is to schedule and specify a time that this document will be put into action. Of course it is a hard work, but it must be done; all the different departments must help and coordinate to perform such a great task; everyone should help. Part of this great task is by Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) and other various teacher education organizations-and part of it is within the system of education itself; they must provide the software and hardware requirements of this task and schedule the project; if God willing, the most important thing in public education is this.
