Joined UNESCO Chairs

 

Paulina González-Pose, the Chief of the Section for Higher Education and Division for Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems in UNESCO, officially announced.

In the wake of the successive efforts and subsequent to the proposal presented by the head of Farhangian University for the establishment of a UNESCO Chair on Teachers as Life Long Learners, UNESCO recently announced proposal has come to pass. (See the original letter  ).

 

Dear Rector,                                                               

I am pleased to inform you that the proposal for the establishment of a UNESCO Chair on Teachers as Life Long Learners has been favorably evaluated by the Selection Committee. 

The draft standard agreement between UNESCO and Farhangian University to formally establish the Chair will be prepared shortly.  We will send you the text when it is ready for your approval on the provisions of Article 2 describing the objectives of the Chair.
