Missions and Objectives

 

 

Farhangian University is an important achievement of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a symbol of cultural interest in all aspects of development. Establishment, consolidation and development of teachers are usually done based on upstream documents and strategic plans such as the fundamental transformation documents that illustrate Farhangian University as the clear example of the Islamic University. 

 

 

Grounded on 

the Document of the Fundamental Transformation of Education (DFTE),

the accountability of performing the following guidelines

is delegated to Farhangian University (CFU)

 

1- Establishing of a national system of teacher training and launch of particular university for teachers with specialized and vocational training approach driven by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the relevant institutions.

 

2- Designing and promoting professional training of teachers in the education system with an emphasis on maintaining continuous interaction of teacher students with schools and scientific and research institutions, and providing real experiences of classroom and instructional milieus.

 

3- Attracting the participation of top universities and seminaries in special, professional, and religious education of teachers, specialists and administrators in collaboration with the Farhangian University.

 

 

Objectives

 

The most important objectives of Farhangian University are to obtain :

 
  • Thoughtful teachers
  • Teachers who can recognize proper situations for teaching and learning
  • Teachers who adhere to Islamic values
  • Teachers who believe to encourage innovation in the classroom
  • Teachers who stay away from stereotypes and any fixedness
  • Teachers who become experts in scientific, educational, social, cultural and technical issues
  • Competent teachers
