On the eve of the birthday of the holy Prophet, Mohammad (pbuh) and Imam Jaffar Sadegh (AS), in the presence of Ayatollah Kazem Siddiqui, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran, Dr. Hossein Khanifar, President of Farhangian University, members of the managerial board and staff of the Central Organization, the commemoration of Unity Week and birthday celebration in Bahonar Hall was held.
At the ceremony, congratulating the birthday of the last prophet and the sixth Imam of the Shiites, the President of the Farhangian University, talked about the orientalists’ researches done on the manner and moral characteristics of the Prophet (peace be upon him). In this regards, Dr. Khanifar noted that according to one of these scholars, Karen Armstrong, prophet Muhammad was the greatest peace-loving jihadist of all time who had transcendent insight.
Dr. Khannifar also mentioned in another part of his speech, referring to the conditions and characteristics of Farhangian University, named the university as an institution which have the mission of preparing and educating teachers for the holy and high goals of the Islamic republic of Iran to protect the system of values.
