Signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between Farhangian Teacher Education University and the Educational Research and Planning Organization

According to the public relations of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), a Memorandum of Cooperation between Prof. Hossein Khanifar, the president of FTEU and Dr. Hassan Maleki, Deputy Minister and Head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization was signed.

In this meeting, Prof. Khanifar highlighted that the ERPO and FTEU are pivotal to the Iranian education system and added that, from one hand, the ERPO is a pillar of textbook writing and curriculum production, and from the other, FTEU is another pillar. He mentioned the production of a 31-volume book on the history of teacher training in Iran as an effective measure and a comprehensive encyclopedia of teacher training in one volume for each province. Khanifar stressed on the significance of the practicum and textbooks to both ERPO and FTRU.

Also, Dr. Maleki, specified that this memorandum establishes a relationship between FTEU, which nurtures teachers, and the ERPO which nurtures texts. Our view of the teacher and the text is an indigenous, doctrinal and value oriented. He noted that as stated by the Supreme Leader of The Islamic Revolution, we are moving towards a new Islamic-Iranian civilization, of which one pillar is undoubtedly the teacher and the other pillar is the text.  He expressed his hope that this memorandum may provide the grounds for favorable cooperation for the purposes of education.
