Theorizing Chairs Should Be Tailored to the Needs of the Day
The meeting of the Committee of Theory, Criticism and Debate Chairs was held in Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU). Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Abdul Hussein Khosrow Panah, head of the Secretariat of the Board for Supporting the Theory of Criticism and Debate of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Prof. Hossein Khanifar, President of FTEU, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Ali Asgari were among the participants. The other members of the Central Organization of FTEU as well as the provincial administrators of the university in the form of a video conference attended this meeting.
In this meeting, referring to the background and the beginning of the discussion of the production movement and software movement in Iran, Prof. Khanifar stated that theorizing and free-thinking chairs were introduced in the seminary 20 years ago, which led to the production of indigenous science. He emphasized the importance of producing and developing science in Islamic civilization.
Khanifar further pointed out and specified the characteristics of the period of scientific rise and resurrection of Muslims and Iranians: elitism, attention to copying, scientific thirst of scholars, interest in translation and commentary, lack of scientific stinginess and altruism or educating successors were among features of this period.
He stated that theorizing chairs are an opportunity to publicly announce the real, truthful and necessary knowledge, the chairs should have a peak and an unspoken point, whether to look at new issues or issues from another perspective.
Referring to the emergence of the Coronavirus and the entry of the world into a new biological corridor, he said that chairs should be aware of the needs of the day. He continued that theorizing, criticism and debate chairs should plan and study issues related to society so that decent services can be provided.
He also noted the need to strengthen infrastructure, support arrangements, move to virtual classrooms and labs, and train educators: The current age is the age of expertise and skills, floating training, virtual migration, volume and collective training and saving human resources, proper human resources must be maintained.
