Call for Conference Imam al-Husayn – International and Eternal with the title, “Orientalism and Imam al-Husayn (PBUH).”
The Uprising of Karbala together with its great leader, noble goals, and influence on the Islamic and humanitarian reality enjoyed the attention of the orientalis ts’ s tudies. Their research on these topics is widespread, covering the uprising’s notions and impacts, while shedding light on its heroes.
This scientific heritage, regarding Imam al-Husayn (PBUH) and his blessed uprising, played a vital role in introducing Imam al-Husayn and his uprising to the world – especially the non-Muslim world. Therefore, we find it necessary that this heritage is to be s tudied and presented through scientific articles that dive into the depth of this heritage in order to unders tand, present, analyze, and criticize it, through research that benefits from the uprising, while uncovering its weaknesses, s trengths, and the fabrications about it that are far from the truth and the reality, through work that presents its comprised truths and proper opinions, all based upon well-founded evidence.
Accordingly, the Warith al-Anbiya Ins titute believed it necessary to hold an international scientific conference that carries this responsibility and achieves the goal. The conference’s slogan will be, Imam al-Husayn – International and Eternal with the title, “Orientalism and Imam al-Husayn (PBUH).”
By “Orientalism,” we mean every s tudy and research made by non-Muslims on Islam, regardless of their nationality, orientations, religions, and languages – as some researchers define “Orientalism.”
The Goals of the Conference
To present the scientific heritage of the orientalis ts and their results regarding Imam al-Husayn (PBUH) and his blessed uprising.
To become familiar with the orientalis ts’ view of Imam al-Husayn (PBUH) and his blessed uprising.
To present, analyze, and criticize the scientific heritage of the orientalis ts regarding Imam al-Husayn (PBUH) and his blessed uprising.
To benefit from the scientific heritage and views of the orientalis ts regarding Imam al-Husayn (PBUH) and his blessed uprising, in order to present Imam al-Husayn realis tically and subjectively to the wes t.
To answer the doubt and clarify the obscurities raised by the orientalis ts, intentionally or unintentionally.

Conditions for Submission:
• The article must be in accordance with the common scientific guidelines for writings.
• The article must be related to the topics of the conference.
• The article must not have been published before, or in the process of being published.
• The article must contain renewal and innovation.
• The pages of the article mus t not be less than 15 pages, nor exceed 40 pages. Every 250 words count as one page.
