Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mostafa Rostami, the head of the Supreme Leader’s Representation Institution at universities, congratulated the new teachers and stated that in some regards, teachers are considered to be parents of human beings, and the Great Prophet has seen himself to be a teacher.
He added that the Islamic Revolution refers to the time that the West claimed human felicity; however, what was occurring to human beings was anything but happiness. They imposed various cruelties, and our people resisted.
Declaring that the strength of the Islamic Revolution has been the education offered, Hujjat al-Islam Rostami mentioned that after Bani-Sadr escaped, the first revolutionary president, who was the former Minister of Education, as well as the prime minister, were teachers. Our schools are the centers to educate and train teachers, and our teachers are educating the generation of revolutionary managers.
He stated that the most important issue is the qualification of teachers and education must not be considered a job agency. All people doing any job other than teaching deal with tools and objects. However, teachers work with the hearts and souls of human beings.
