The Vice-President of Student- Teachers Affairs, Vahid Alamian, stated: “In honor of Physical Education Week, 103 Sports and Wellness Centers were opened (67 centers were equipped and launched, 36 centers were updated) and four indoor sports centers were put into operation, simultaneously through the ceremony held in Tehran and 30 other provinces.”
He pointed out the brilliant results gained by the student- teachers at the 16th Sports Olympiad of Universities and Higher Education Institutes: “Our students are superior not only at sports but also at science. However, we face loads of problems regarding facilities and amenities.”
Through the current ceremony, the area of indoor sports centers of FTEU increased by about 20000 square meters, while the total area has been 80 square meters since the establishment of the university.
