The success of the Education System after the Islamic Revolution
Pointing out the words of the Supreme Leader, which were displayed in the conference, he reiterated that the achievements of education are clearly seen in these meetings in the presence of the ministers of education, which are not merely manifested at universities, but are consistent and steady in the education system.
Insufficient Current Education System
Khosropanah replied to the question on the sufficiency of the current education system and stated that the current situation is certainly insufficient and is far away from the desirable condition. After two research meetings, the 14th government concluded on four priorities in the field of education, including educational justice, quality human resources, education evolution with a focus on progressive technology, and training evolution.
He hopes that the four priorities will be seriously followed to result in the real evolution of the education system.
How to Achieve the Objectives of the Education System
The secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution offered some suggestions as the practical approaches to realize the objectives of the education system.
The first step to achieve the mentioned goals is to develop a comprehensive and specific educational pattern and to respect teachers. Teacher training must be focused on education, training, and respect.
He also emphasized the skill-training procedures for students and said that skill training must not be limited to art schools but must be promoted across all schools by some skill-training workshops.
He pointed out the necessity of updating curricula to keep up with the times.
Khosropanah emphasized other issues, including the equitable distribution of facilities and human resources, and support from benefactors, charities, and families. To reinforce these approaches, he considered the latest technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to be highly beneficial.
