Chancellor of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) Emphasizes Necessity of Research and Critical Thinking

At the 13th National Festival of Research and Technology, the chancellor of FTEU, Rajabali Borzooei, stated that (FTEU) has constantly been emphasized by the Supreme Leader and the university is the most sacred place to offer services, so it is vital to pay special attention to it.

He considered effectiveness to be the result of thoughtful activities, research, and deep thinking, and in this regard, he added that all measures taken must be based on research thinking.

Borzooei referred to the use of Artificial Intelligence and its tools in educational performance and supervision and promoting academic members based on the university mission. He clarified that FTEU must be a national reference for education and training and an international reference for Islamic education and training.

Stating that the priority of the university is set on simulated smart laboratories, he pointed out that regarding the nationwide expansion of FTEU and the necessity of quality improvement, it is vital to move towards these sorts of laboratories.

The chancellor of FTEU said that research and critical thinking might not be transferred to student-teachers unless the professors themselves own such thinking and have a proper understanding of research.
