Specialized Translation Principles and Methods Workshops on Empowering International Scientific Communication

Thanks to the efforts of the Directorate for International Affairs of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), the workshops on empowering international scientific communication, introduced as Translation Principles and Methods 1, 2, and 3, which were held in the Central Organization of the University and taught by Dr. Aboutaleb Beigmohammadi, was well received by the audience.

Due to the high number of scientific books and articles, conferences, and websites in English, it is undoubtedly vital for the academic members of universities and the scientific community of the country to be reasonably proficient in English. It plays an essential role in accurate understanding of the latest scientific articles, updating their knowledge, and transmitting it to the students; proficiency is also necessary for constant communication with the world’s scientific references.

Hossein Omidi, the head of the Directorate for International Affairs of FTEU, stated that the workshops on empowering international scientific communication are held to promote the level of familiarity of the academic members, managers, and student-teachers with the capacities of international interaction of the university, and it is planned that these workshops will be constantly held through the year.
