Chairman of Joint Commission of Population Youth Plan: Emphasis of Islamic Consultative Assembly on Supporting Student Couples
At the wedding celebration “Divine Bond” held on February 25th, 2025, in Nasibeh Campus, Tehran, Amir Hossein Bankipour, the chairman of the Joint Commission of Youth Population and Family Support, announced the plan to build dormitories for couples at universities. Pointing out the significance of supporting student marriages, he stated that three specific provisions have been approved to accelerate the building process of dormitories for couples: the possibility of exchanging and sharing buildings with other organizations, authorization for banking facilities equal to the budget of the last year, and requiring the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development to allocate facilities of building accommodation to dormitories for couples.
