Regarding the presence of elite athlete student-teachers Negin Naseripour from Tehran, Sara Bahramian, Sara Ahadinia, Saghar Ahadinia from Isfahan, and Ruhollah Karimian from Mazandaran in the national taekwondo team camp for attendance at the 2nd Student Universiade in Germany, Vahid Alamian, Vice-Chancellor for Student-Teachers’ Affairs at Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), said that the student-teachers will be supported to participate in national and international sports championships.
The selection competitions for the national team of male and female students in the Kyorougei section were held in cooperation with the National Federation of Student Sports and the Taekwondo Federation, with the participation of 212 students in this field, at the Taekwondo House. In the end, the top 16 athletes, including Negin Naseripour in the third weight category (-53 kg) from Tehran and Ruhollah Karimian in the seventh weight category (-68 kg), advanced to the second selection camp.
Hossein Omidi, the head of the Directorate for International Affairs of FTEU, while congratulating the large family of FTEU on this success and appreciating the efforts made, stated that one of the duties and missions of the international affairs department is to facilitate the effective presence of professors, managers, and student-teachers in prestigious international events in the fields of science, research, culture, sports, etc.
