Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) on the Path to Evolution, from Infrastructure Development to Innovation in Teacher Education System

At the 40^th meeting of the board of trustees of FTEU in the presence of the Minister of Education, the chancellor of the university, Rajab Ali Borzooei, pointed out the 1200-percent growth in the construction credit and a 900-percent increase in the infrastructure budget, and emphasized that FTEU managed to obtain the construction permit for campuses and centers and dormitories, as well as equip the centers by 70% in the field of sports arena development. In addition, the number of industrial kitchens has increased from 6 to 23, which indicates improved welfare conditions for student-teachers. He also pointed out the recruitment of student-teachers through the specialized exam and assessment centers for the first time at FTEU, and added that 22000 student-teachers have been educated for professional teaching competencies, and 2400 student-teachers have been educated in the field of social harms.

The chancellor of the university emphasized the combination of tradition and innovation in the education system and announced applying novel technology to the education process, stating that artificial intelligence has seriously entered the teacher education system, and the digital laboratories will be activated next year.
