The first meeting of International Council of Farhangian University in the new Iranian year (1394) was held in Administrative Building of the university on April 13, 2015. The meeting was attended by the majority of members and relevant report was read on issues and programs carried out last year by the Office for Scientific Cooperation and International Relations in Farhangian University and also plan ahead for New Year was discussed. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mehrmohammadi – the acting president of the university and the head of the meeting – congratulated the New Year to all and welcomed the participation of the members. This meeting was followed by no ratification and approval for action and members were assigned to clarify and prepare the exact duties of the International Office and its Strategic plan carefully as possible and this will be discussed at the next meeting of the Council. Pro. Mehrmohammadi asserted that this is crucial to be done so that decisions and actions in future will be within the framework of the policies of the Ministry of Education and any distortions would be avoided.
