Chancellor of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU): Necessity of Common Determination for Quality Teacher Education

At the ceremony for the commemoration of the Education Excellence Decade, having the slogan “Dynamic, Smart, and Society-Oriented University”, the chancellor of FTEU, Rajab Ali Borzooei, pointing out the support from the government, the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and the Minister of Education and emphasizing the necessity of common determination for teacher education, said that the university is concentrated on its major mission to improve education quality, and FTeU is a major issue in the education area.

At the ceremony, which was held in the presence of the Minister of Education, the members of the board of directors, academic members, administrators, and student-teachers, the chancellor of FTEU, named the current year, 2025, the year of quality improvement, and said that the quality must be established in all aspects of the university; he added that the university as the center to educate the human capital of the system needs the common determination for quality education of the teachers.

He announced the recruitment of 600 academic members over the last year and stated that today, the best professors are recruited by FTEU, and student-teachers are chosen among the highest ranks; those who were able to study at the most reliable, highest-ranking universities of the country, but deliberately chose to study at FTEU to be the future teachers.
