Public Relations Narrative of Meeting of the Supreme Leader with Educators:
Center of Gravity of Education System to be Major Emphasis of the Supreme Leader
According to the Public Relations Department of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), yesterday, a different morning took place in the calendar of our hearts. A group of teachers, instructors, and student-teachers, with tireless robes of knowledge and eyes awake with hope, rushed to meet the sun.
The simple and unpretentious sanctum of Imam Khomeini's (RA) Hussainiyah, this time hosted those who are supposed to build the future of this land; those whose names are not in official frames, but whose footprints are obvious in the fate of every generation; officers of the Awareness Front, came to meet the commander.
The silence of those who were present was full of passion and intelligence until the Supreme Leader, calm but steadfast as a mountain, stood in the middle of the crowd. Hearts were filled with enthusiasm. The hopeful eyes of the young teachers seemed to be searching for a fatherly approval, and the father began to speak.
Among his words, there was a tone that sometimes touched the soul like a breeze and sometimes, like a mountain, imposed responsibility on the souls of the authorities.
But when it came to "teacher education," the voice took on a different color. The Supreme Leader, with his constant look at experience and the future, placed FTEU like a jewel in the heart of his words:
“FTEU is important …it belongs to the education system. Its merger with another university is not expedient.”
Yes, this university is the home of the creation of that element through which all future builders pass: the teacher.
At that moment, we, the large family of FTEU, felt that the sky had opened under the roof of his words. The name of our university, among his words, who is the standard-bearer of wisdom and faith, seemed as if it would resonate in every line of history.
He spoke of selection; of those days when Martyr Raisi, with his justice-oriented vision, built the wall of criteria higher so that no wind would shake the teacher’s tree.
“The quality of work at this university must be so that educating standard teachers is possible.”
It was as if he told us: Stand, stay, build, and don't let the flag fall.
Our Supreme Leader asked us to turn this university into a meeting point for the best scientific, faithful, and moral professors. A university where "science" goes hand in hand with "faith" and "morality" is the umbrella for all education.
And with that familiar and firm tone, he said:
“I insist on not letting this university weaken…do whatever you can to modify the behavior of FTEU.”
At that moment, we, including professors, employees, and student-teachers, became the bearers of a great trust. A spark of joy flashed in our eyes. The Guardian of the Muslims saw us, said our names, and recognized our concerns. Now, it is our turn to create and become "standard teachers," not in words, but in consciousness and reality, and in the flame of faith and understanding. The meeting ended, but the message of the meeting began in our souls. And now... we, the silent flag-bearers of small classes in distant cities, carry this message with us: FTEU is not a building, but a fortress. And teaching is not a job, but a mission.
