Hossein Omidi, Director of International Affairs of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), in University Booth, 36th Tehran International Book Fair, 2025

FTEU is defined as a mission-oriented institution whose major goal is scientific development, internationalization, and the realization of the Fundamental Reform Document of Education in the context of the Second Phase of the Revolution.

On May 14th, 2025, Hossein Omidi, the director of the International Affairs of the university, attended the 36th Tehran International Book Fair and visited the booth of FTEU. He stated that FTEU, having the support of the chancellor of the university, Rajab Ali Borzooei, is moving toward internationalization. Omidi said that although FTEU is defined as a mission-oriented institution, scientific development, internationalization, and the realization of the Fundamental Reform Document of Education in the context of the Second Phase of the Revolution are among the most important goals of the university. On the path toward becoming the scientific reference of Islamic Education, international interactions with prestigious universities and the admission of international students have been placed on the agenda. Establishment of centers for teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers, centers of language teaching, and obtaining admission permission for international students are parts of the international vision.

On this path, cooperation with international institutions, including UNESCO, ICESCO, ECOSF, SAADI Foundation, Al-Mustafa International University, and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, plays a key role. Holding sports and Quran competitions in Islamic countries has also been planned.

In the end, Omidi appreciated the precious efforts of the former directors and the company of influential figures, particularly Dr. Borzooei
