Minister of Education Emphasizes Position and Role of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) in Evolutionary Policies of Education System
In a meeting with the Board of Trustees of FTEU of Khorasan Razavi Province on June 4th, 2025, the Minister of Education, Alireza Kazemi, emphasized the university's fundamental position in the country's education system and added that the university is an inconsistent part of the system, and the provincial education administrators must have a responsible attitude to it.
Kazemi stated that the recommendation of the Supreme Leader about FTEU has been clear, wise, and objective; he has repeatedly emphasized that FTEU must be supervised by the education system, and the attitude toward it must be mission-oriented.
Pointing out the necessity of playing a part by the university in the education of committed, expert teachers, Kazemi said that if some harms are observed in the body of the university, the educational processes must be revised; no system is free from challenges, however, the key point is smart management of the harms.
He considered FTEU to be the center for social harm prevention and clarified that student-teachers can be the messengers of social health at schools. If every student-teacher interacts with merely 150 students a year, a great cultural effect will be formed.
The Minister of Education asked the provincial authorities to prioritize cultural and social support from FTEU, in addition to the hardware measures, and put the participation capacity of benefactors and cultural organizations into practice.
In the end, it was decided that the results of the professional field investigations in the areas related to space development, and cultural and scientific issues of FTEU be presented to the Board of Trustees for future executive measures.
