Televised Message of Supreme Leader of Revolution Addressed to People of Iran Following Attack by Zionist Regime.

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Abundant greetings to the dear and great nation of Iran. First of all, I pay tribute to the precious martyrs of the recent events; the martyred commanders, the martyred scholars who were truly and justly valuable for the Islamic Republic and served sincerely, and today, before the God, they receive the rewards of their outstanding services.
I find it necessary to congratulate the great nation of Iran. I would like to offer a few congratulations to the nation: One is the congratulations on the victory over the fake Zionist regime. The Zionist regime, with all its noise and claims, has been nearly crushed and defeated under the blows of the Islamic Republic. That such blows could be dealt to the regime by the Islamic Republic never crossed their minds or imaginations, and it happened. We thank God for helping our armed forces, who were able to penetrate their advanced multi-layered defense and leveled many of their urban and military areas to the ground with the pressure of their missiles and the strong offensive. This is one of the greatest blessings of God; it indicates that the Zionist regime knows that aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran is costly for them, creates costs for them, and imposes heavy costs on them. And thank God this event occurred; the honor belongs to the armed forces and our dear people who created, trained, supported, and empowered these armed forces from within themselves to carry out such a great task.
The second congratulation pertains to the victory of our dear Iran over the American regime. The American regime entered into direct war because it felt that if it did not intervene, the Zionist regime would be completely destroyed. It entered the war to save the Zionist regime, but it achieved nothing from this war. They attacked our nuclear centers — which, of course, this independently warrants criminal prosecution in international courts — but they were unable to accomplish anything significant. The President of the United States exaggerated what had happened in an unconventional manner; it became clear that he needed this exaggeration. Anyone who heard those words understood that beneath the surface of these statements, there exists another truth. They could not achieve their goals, and they exaggerate to cover up and keep the truth hidden. Here, the Islamic Republic also emerged victorious, and conversely, the Islamic Republic dealt a heavy blow to the United States; it attacked one of the important American air bases in the region, Al Udeid, causing damages. Those who had exaggerated in that incident tried to downplay this one, claiming that nothing had happened, while indeed a significant event had taken place. The fact that the Islamic Republic has access to important American centers in the region and can act against them whenever deemed necessary is not a small incident; it is a significant event, and it is repeatable in the future; if an aggression occurs, the cost for the enemy and the aggressor will certainly be high.
The third congratulation is on the extraordinary unity and agreement of the Iranian nation. Thank God, a nation of about ninety million people stood together, united, and with one voice, shoulder to shoulder, without any differences in their demands and the objectives they express. They protested, spoke out, and supported the actions of the armed forces, and this will continue to be the case. The Iranian nation demonstrated its greatness, its distinguished and outstanding character in this matter, showing that, when necessary, a single voice will be heard from this nation, and thank God, this has happened.
The point I want to make as a fundamental aspect of my remarks is that the President of the United States, in one of his statements, said that Iran must surrender. "Surrender!" The discussion is no longer about enrichment, it is no longer about the nuclear industry; it is about the surrender of Iran. Of course, this statement is very large for the mouth of the President of the United States. Great Iran, Iran with this history, Iran with this culture, Iran with this national steel determination, the name "surrender" for such a country is a source of mockery for those who know the Iranian nation. However, his statement revealed a truth; the Americans have been opposing Islamic Iran since the beginning of the revolution, they are grappling with it, and each time they have a pretext: sometimes it is human rights, sometimes it is defending democracy, sometimes it is women's rights, sometimes it is enrichment, sometimes it is the core issue of the nuclear matter, sometimes it is the issue of missile development; they bring various excuses, but the essence of the matter is nothing more than "the surrender of Iran." Previous ones did not say this because it is unacceptable; it is not according to any human logic to tell a nation to come and surrender, so they hid it under other titles. This person revealed that truth, showing and making it clear that the Americans will only be satisfied with the surrender of Iran and nothing less. And this is an important point! The Iranian nation should know that the reason for the opposition to the U.S. is this, and that the Americans are holding this great insulting position against the Iranian nation, and such an event will never happen; it will never happen.
The nation of Iran is a great nation, Iran is a strong and vast country, Iran has an ancient civilization; our cultural and civilizational wealth is hundreds of times greater than that of America and similar countries. The expectation that Iran would submit to another country is one of those nonsensical claims that will certainly be a source of mockery for wise and knowledgeable individuals. The nation of Iran is dear and will remain dear, it is victorious and will continue to be victorious by God's grace. We hope that the Almighty God always keeps this nation under His blessings with dignity and honor, elevates the ranks of the great Imam, and makes the Imam of the Time (may our souls be sacrificed for his sake) pleased and satisfied with this nation, and that our nation be under his support.
Peace be upon you, the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.
