Hossein Omidi, the director of International Affairs at the university, while attending the booths of the publishers from Qatar, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Venezuela and Mexico, stated in a conversation with the booth officials that the book fair is a platform for strengthening regional relations and developing cultural diplomacy.

Omidi regarded the Tehran International Book Fair as a bridge for regional interactions and stated that the Tehran International Book Fair is more than just a cultural event; it is an opportunity for interaction and synergy among publishers, writers, and publishing activists from various countries, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran and Islamic countries. He emphasized the role of the publishing industry as a tool for strengthening cultural ties and interactions among nations, referencing historical and religious commonalities.

Omidi referring to the capacity of the publications of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) in the field of publishing and benefiting from advanced infrastructure, specialized human resources, and a rich background in producing scientific content in teacher training as well as in cultural and religious fields, stated that “it can play a central role in the education sector and can have constructive cooperation with the publications of neighboring and aligned countries. Multilateral collaborations serve as an opportunity for cultural development, and actions such as translating works into the official languages of countries, publishing books including literary and educational ones, exchanging experiences in digital publishing, and participating in regional exhibitions can facilitate this process.”

Omidi highlighting the position of FTEU as the largest teacher education university in the world in terms of the number of student-teachers and geographical distribution said that “the publications of the FTEU are among the reputable publications in the field of education. The Tehran Book Fair can serve as an effective platform for bringing nations closer together and developing cultural interactions. Utilizing existing capacities and creating sustainable structures for regional collaborations promises a bright future.”

Omidi talked of the university's readiness to develop international scientific interactions with the booth officials while introducing the capacities and capabilities of FTEU in the field of publishing and authoring books in education and presented some booklets about introducing the university in Arabic, English, and French to them.
