FTEU Pursues Scientific and Educational Excellence to Become the National Reference in Teacher Education
In a strategic address to provincial directors and members of the university’s executive board, Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), emphasized the institution’s unwavering commitment to advance teacher education through scientific planning and educational leadership. He called for cohesive strategies to unlock the university’s full potential and elevate its national standing.
According to the university’s Public Relations Office, Dr. Borzouei highlighted the university’s resilience during times of crisis, including wartime conditions, and praised the unified presence of staff at the central headquarters. He described this solidarity as a reflection of sacrifice, hope, and responsibility, stating:
“FTEU has consistently demonstrated its ability to perform at its best—even under the most challenging circumstances.”
He urged provincial managers to engage constructively with governors and regional education directors to resolve issues locally, and stressed the importance of maintaining active relationships with philanthropic partners.
Key Strategic Initiatives:
- Higher Education Standards: Dr. Borzooei announced the launch of the university’s first simulation laboratory, with plans to extend this technology to 15 additional provinces.
- IT Infrastructure & Crisis Preparedness: He called on provincial branches to fully utilize digital infrastructure and prepare for diverse educational scenarios, especially in times of crisis.
- Faculty Empowerment: Emphasizing the central role of academic staff, he advocated for improved physical spaces and resources to support research and scholarly activities across all campuses.
- Graduate-Level Expansion: The university is actively pursuing the development of master’s degree programs as part of its mission-driven agenda.
- Institutional Engagement: Dr. Borzooei encouraged regular meetings with faculty members, greater attention to dormitory-based student-teachers, and documentation of managerial experiences.
