FTEU at the Forefront of Training Teachers Committed to Revolutionary Values

In a recent meeting with Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU), Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Alamolhoda—Representative of the Supreme Leader in Khorasan Razavi and Friday Prayer Leader of Mashhad—praised the university’s pivotal role in shaping the future of education in Iran. He described FTEU as the “frontline of the cultural and ideological battle,” and emphasized the need for continuous improvement in academic quality, faculty development, and the integration of religious and cultural capacities to train competent and revolutionary-minded teachers.

According to FTEU’s Public Relations Office, Ayatollah Alamolhoda commended the university’s recent progress and called for sustained efforts to enhance both teaching and research standards. He highlighted the unique opportunity presented by the presence of the Supreme Leader’s representative office within the university, describing it as a vital resource for fostering spirituality and ethical values among students and faculty.

Strategic Vision for Teacher Preparation

Ayatollah Alamolhoda stressed the importance of preparing teachers to serve as role models in schools, stating:

“The recruitment and training process must ensure that teachers possess the highest levels of academic, moral, and ideological competence. This foundation is essential for classroom leadership and for transmitting core values to the next generation.”

He welcomed the university’s initiative to establish a dedicated recruitment center for adjunct faculty and to revise its faculty promotion regulations, calling these steps significant for elevating academic and cultural standards.

Holistic Development and School Integration

The Supreme Leader’s representative also emphasized the importance of supporting teachers’ physical and mental well-being, providing counseling services, and strengthening the university’s connection with schools through joint training workshops.

In closing, Ayatollah Alamolhoda stated:

“FTEU carries a profound mission in training committed educators. It plays a vital role in safeguarding Islamic values and advancing national development. This path demands unwavering dedication and strategic action."
