FTEU Announces First-Ever Direct Admission for Gifted Students into Graduate Programs
In alignment with national policies to support and guide gifted students, and in accordance with the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution’s directives and the Supreme Leader’s vision for transforming Iran’s education system, FTEU has announced—for the first time—the launch of a direct admission pathway for academically gifted students into master’s programs.
This initiative is designed to facilitate continued education for top-performing student-teachers from FTEU and Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University, based on the official “Regulations for Direct Admission of Gifted Students into Graduate Studies.”
Eligible candidates may register and submit their documents online via https://talent.cfu.ac.ir between Tuesday, September 17, 2025 (13 Rabi' al-Awwal 1446 AH) and Friday, September 21, 2025 (17 Rabi' al-Awwal 1446 AH).
Interview Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated based on academic, research, and cultural achievements, as well as proficiency in foreign languages. All supporting documents must be uploaded to the portal during registration.
Admission Conditions
Final admission will be determined by university capacity, in accordance with the Ministry of Science’s regulations and FTEU’s internal policies. All admissions are subject to final approval by the National Organization for Educational Testing.
The quota for direct admission may not exceed 40% of the regular intake for each major. Of this, two-third must be allocated to graduates of FTEU, and one-third to graduates of Shahid Rajaee University. Quota exchange between the two institutions is not permitted.
Eligibility Requirements
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least six semesters and 75% of their coursework, ranking in the top 20% of their cohort, and graduate within eight semesters.
- Students with any disciplinary record—whether issued by the university or the Ministry—are ineligible for gifted admission.
- Finalists (ranks 1–15) of the National Student Olympiad may be admitted without interview, provided they submit official certification from the Olympiad Secretariat and the National Testing Organization.
- National Exemplary Students may be admitted with a valid nomination letter from the Student Affairs Organization.
- Admission is valid only once and must occur immediately after graduation. Students must graduate by the end of September 2025; otherwise, their admission will be revoked.
- Each applicant may select only one major or specialization, and must continue in a graduate program aligned with their undergraduate field.
- Students in teacher training programs must obtain unconditional written approval from the Ministry of Education prior to registration and present it upon admission. They will also be required to renew their service commitment to the Ministry after acceptance.
