Representative of the Supreme Leader’s Office at FTEU Emphasizes:
The Need for Unity and Cooperation between Office Representatives and University Leadership regarding Structural Transition
The ninth national summit of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Offices at FTEU was held at the Imam Ali (AS) Educational and Research Center in Babolsar, beginning on Saturday, September 6, 2025 (21 Rabi' al-Awwal 1446 AH). The event brought together senior representatives, deputies, executive managers, and women’s office leaders from across the country.
The opening ceremony featured remarks by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Ali Taghavi, Representative of the Supreme Leader at FTEU, alongside Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mostafa Rostami, Head of the Supreme Leader’s Office in Iranian Universities, and Dr. Lotfollah Mahdavi, Chancellor of FTEU in Mazandaran Province.
In his address, Hujjat al-Islam Taghavi outlined the mission, principles, and strategic policies of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office at FTEU. He emphasized the university’s ongoing structural transformation—from an administrative entity to a fully academic institution—and called for closer cooperation and alignment between office representatives and university leadership to support this transition.
He further explained that the summit was convened to foster strategic coordination between central and regional offices, encourage the exchange of ideas, generate innovative approaches, and develop practical solutions to current challenges facing the university. The event also aimed to enhance the professional, spiritual, and organizational capacities of staff across the representative offices.
