Joint Meeting Held Between Farhangian Teacher Education University’ (FTEU) Board of Directors and Council of Deputies of Directorate of Education of Tehran Province

According to the FTEU’s Public Relations Office, a joint meeting was convened between the members of the University’s Board of Directors and the Council of Deputies of the Directorate of Education of Tehran Province. The session took place in the Shahid Chamran Hall at the Central Organization of FTEU.

 

Chancellor of FTEU: Our Mission is to Train Competent, Experienced, and Skilled Teachers

In this meeting, Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of FTEU, outlined the university’s key programs and collaborations with provincial Directorates of Education. He reiterated the institution’s principal mission: to train teachers equipped with the necessary competencies, experience, and professional skills. Dr. Borzooei went on to highlight a number of significant initiatives undertaken to advance the university, including comprehensive reforms in the internship program as well as forward-looking adjustments in the academic, educational, and administrative structures under the new university framework.

 

Dr. Borzooei emphasized the critical role of faculty members in the university’s progress and stressed that FTEU's faculty members must be thoroughly familiar with the realities of schools and the classroom environment. He also announced ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Education in developing boarding school systems and in formulating teaching competency frameworks.

 

Ministry of Education’s Representative at FTEU and Shahid Rajaee University: Strong Emphasis on Collaboration with FTEU

During the session, Jalal Delghandi, the Ministry of Education’s representative at FTEU and Shahid Rajaee University, referenced the Minister’s consistent emphasis on close cooperation with FTEU. He noted that, in most meetings, the Minister has consistently called for the highest levels of collaboration from General Directors, observing that many of FTEU’s key challenges can be addressed through effective cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
