Admission of Dual-Degree Program Students to FTEU from the Upcoming Semester
The Vice Chancellor for Education and Graduate Studies at Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) announced that all students enrolled in the dual-degree program will be definitively admitted to FTEU in the upcoming academic semester, assuring that there is no cause for concern.
According to the Public Relations Office of FTEU, Farhad Alipour, Vice Chancellor for Education and Graduate Studies, stated that the main objective behind approving the dual-degree student program is to leverage the capacities of other universities within FTEU. He added that, to date, 1,881 dual-degree students have registered to continue their studies at FTEU.
Alipour explained that these students were previously admitted to other universities according to the relevant guidelines and have now chosen to continue their education at FTEU. He noted that these students' academic credentials will be recognized both by their original institutions and by FTEU. According to university regulations, these students are required to complete two years of study at their home universities before transferring to FTEU after passing the courses specified in the program’s guidelines.
Emphasizing the precise implementation of instructions, Alipour declared that based on mutual agreements, these students—regardless of the number of credits they have completed—will be admitted to FTEU starting from the beginning of the next academic year.
He further stated that for students who have completed all required credits as specified in the regulations and have been verified as being qualified, a teaching commitment will be immediately obtained through the Ministry of Education. These students will enjoy the same benefits as all other student- teachers at FTEU.
Regarding students who have not yet completed all prescribed credits, Alipour said that those with remaining courses, for any reason, may complete these courses at FTEU. Upon meeting all necessary conditions, their teaching commitment will also be secured through the Ministry of Education.
Referring to concerns about missing information from some home universities, Alipour addressed the students’ worries by assuring them that FTEU is awaiting the complete set of data from all originating universities. All dual-degree students will commence their studies at FTEU from the upcoming semester and will be able to continue their education without disruption.
Alipour emphasized that for all students whose documentation has been fully received, student numbers have been issued by the Education Department. Necessary correspondence with provincial branches of FTEU has been made to ensure the admission and registration process proceeds smoothly and without interruption.
He concluded by noting that if any student is found ineligible or for any reason does not wish to continue the process at FTEU, they may continue their studies at their original home university.
