FTEU's Special Mission to Implement Educational Programs for Student-Teachers, Faculty Members, and Staff
The Chancellor of Farhangian Teacher Education University (FTEU) emphasized the institution’s mission to strengthen the spirit of sacrifice among student-teachers during a joint meeting with the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, highlighting the strategic importance of leveraging research capabilities and educational initiatives in this direction.
According to the Public Relations Office of FTEU, Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of FTEU, stated at the joint session with the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs that promoting the culture of jihad, sacrifice, and martyrdom is of paramount importance. He noted that FTEU is tasked with reinforcing and preserving the spirit of selflessness among student- teachers —a mission that is now more critical than ever.
He added that the university has received a special mandate to implement substantive and educational programs so that all student- teachers, academic staff, and employees can actively contribute along this path. According to Dr. Borzooei, the revolutionary and sacrificial spirit among students at FTEU is more prominent than in other universities and should be further strengthened through deeper content and long-term initiatives.
Dr. Borzooei also stressed the need to finalize the professional qualifications for teachers and to integrate lessons on sacrifice into the university’s training courses. He pointed out that the Rahian-e- Noor (Caravans of Light) program is a valuable opportunity for future teachers to become acquainted with the Sacred Defense and the culture of sacrifice, thereby passing these values on to their students.
Later in the meeting, Farideh Oladghobad, Deputy for Cooperation and Social Affairs at the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, highlighted the importance of narratology and the documentation of martyrs’ lives and ethics in order to transfer these values to future generations, describing FTEU as a strategic center for cultural movement and transformation.
