Farhangian University Excels at National Olympiad of Technological Sports
Farhangian University achieved notable success at the First National Olympiad of Technological Sports for female students from universities and higher education institutions across Iran. The event, hosted by Amir kabir University of Technology in September, brought together 786 athletes from 87 universities nationwide.
In this competition, Shahid Hasheminejad Campus (Razavi Khorasan) placed third, while the Imam Khomeini (RA) Campus (Golestan) secured fourth place. Farhangian University was represented by 32 elite athletes, who participated in all categories—digital, phygital, and innovative technological sports—achieving an impressive overall standing among leading technical universities.
Dr. Vahid Alamian, Vice Chancellor for Student-Teacher Affairs, stated that this achievement demonstrates the high capability and motivation of Farhangian University’s students. He noted that technological sports foster vitality, optimism, and the identification of top talents. Dr. Alamian also expressed gratitude to the Physical Education Department, provincial managers, supervisors, and coaches who contributed to this success.
