Head of Center for Human Resources Empowerment and Improvement: AI Training Launched for Student-Teachers, Educators, and Staff

The Head of the Center for Human Resources Empowerment and Improvement at Farhangian University announced new artificial intelligence (AI) training programs for student-teachers, teachers, faculty members, and staff. These courses—offered at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels—are designed to enhance educational competencies and foster purposeful use of modern technology in teaching.

Abbas Najjar, head of the center, said, “Today’s educators must be well-versed in AI. In the third millennium, effective application of AI has become indispensable.” He highlighted the university’s pioneering role in AI curriculum development, which began even before the Ministry of Education’s AI Task Force and has accelerated with support from experts.

The training course, totaling 100 hours, covers AI fundamentals, educational applications, content creation, classroom management, assessment, and testing techniques. Programs are tailored to the needs of student-teachers, teachers, and faculty members.

Najjar explained that AI tools will transform education by enabling richer content development, interactive questioning, personalized assessment, talent identification, and enhanced classroom management. The curriculum covers prompt engineering and critical analysis for effective AI use.

For administrative staff, Najjar emphasized that training is based on individual job profiles, delivered via specialized channels with up-to-date content.

He concluded: “AI education not only develops professional capacities for our educators and student-teachers, but also promotes educational equity and more engaging learning environments for the next generation.”
