28th Student Marriage Program with Educational, Explanatory, and Pilgrimage Focus

The Head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office at Farhangian University (FU) announced the launch of the 28th student marriage initiative, emphasizing its educational, explanatory, and pilgrimage components, aimed at encouraging marriage, promoting the culture of easy marriage, and providing an informed entry into married life.

 

According to the university's Public Relations Office, Hojjat ul-Islam Ali Taghavi stated that registration for the new round will run from October 2 to October 22, 2025, under the “Travel Companion to Heaven” program.

This program, regarded as a spiritual gift from the Office of the Supreme Leader, will be held in Mashhad, combining instructional sessions with religious pilgrimage and providing comprehensive educational, explanatory, and counseling components near the shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

 

Taghavi highlighted the program’s enduring impact, noting that, based on a decade of surveys, student marriages are among the most successful and resilient with low divorce rates.

 

Over 2,000 student-teacher couples have participated in previous years, with expectations exceeding that number this year. Farhangian University (FU) remains one of the country’s leaders in fostering and executing student marriage programs.
