Developing Commitment to Prayer and Quran as a Core Priority
At a joint meeting with the National Prayer Committee, Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of Farhangian University (FU), reported on comprehensive efforts to foster a culture of prayer and Quranic values among student-teachers.
Borzooei emphasized the significant material and spiritual benefits of prayer, expressing confidence that dedication to prayer and the Quran protects individuals from error. The university has taken measures such as renovating mosque facilities, organizing training for imams, holding spiritual workshops, integrating modern technology including AI for prayer initiatives, launching a prayer and Mahdavi Start-up Center, and redefining curricula to encourage prayer culture.
Borzooei noted substantial scientific achievements, including national student awards and medals in academic Olympiads, as evidence of the university’s broad success. Hojjat ul-Islam Qaraiti, presented the president with a symbolic ring from the Supreme Leader in recognition of these efforts.
