Farhangian University: The Beating Heart of National Education
Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of Farhangian University, described the institution as the "beating heart of the country's education system" during an engaging meeting with faculty, staff, and administrators at the university's Isfahan branch. He emphasized the pressing need for foundational planning to enhance education, training, and research at Farhangian University.
According to the university’s Public Relations Office, this session saw the participation of Isfahan branch faculty and staff alongside Rajab Ali Borzooei, Ramadan Rahimi (MP for Falavarjan), Ayoub Darvishi (Isfahan's Political-Security Deputy Governor), and Akbar Panahi (Interim Head of Farhangian University, Isfahan).
Dr. Borzooei asserted that every challenge could be resolved with a programmatic and practical approach toward university Reform. He called Farhangian University the nation’s most sacred educational institution, warning that negligence here equates to neglecting the training of the generations who will shape the future of education.
Borzooei underlined the necessity of simultaneous attention to culture, education, and research, adding that Farhangian University truly forms the heart of the education system. He also referenced the new academic promotion by law—crafted over seven months of expert work—as vital to driving the university’s strategy.
Furthermore, he announced an allocation of 400 billion IRR for the establishment of wellness rooms in 100 university centers, emphasizing the integration of sports activities with the cultural and moral development of student-teachers.
MP Ramadan Rahimi expressed continued parliamentary concern for Farhangian University, highlighting the legislative commissions’ steady support and regard for the university's mission. He noted Isfahan’s inspirational role, having produced 24,000 martyrs and boasting considerable human capital, positioning it as a model for university development across Iran. He concluded by commending Farhangian University’s efforts and called for closer coordination between parliament and academia.
Akbar Panahi (Interim Head) expressed gratitude for the high-level visit and said the session aimed to receive direct input and suggestions from faculty and staff for effectively addressing challenges and advancing university status.
At the session’s conclusion, Hojjatoleslam Ali-Asghar Hamzeh (Representative of the Supreme Leader in Isfahan’s Farhangian University) emphasized the Supreme Leader’s call for nurturing educators befitting the Islamic Revolution and advocated for joint institutional efforts. He highlighted the need for addressing student dormitory management and thanked the campus directors for their dedication.
