Farhangian University’s Boys and Girls' triple-double Basketball Teams Advance to Russian Super Cup Qualifiers
The selected Boys and Girls' triple-double Basketball Teams at Farhangian University have completed intensive training camps in Tehran and are now competing in the qualifiers for the International Russian Super Cup tournament.
According to Vahid Alamian, Deputy for Student Teachers at Farhangian University, teams were formed after screening candidates from various provinces in a five-day focused camp—held separately at Nasibe (women’s) and Shahid Chamran (men’s) campuses.
The teams participated in the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology's 3x3 basketball championships, facing numerous university teams nationwide. The women’s competitions were hosted by Sharif University of Technology and the men’s by Shahid Beheshti University.
Men's squad members hailed from Hamadan, Fars, and Tehran, and the women’s from Khorasan Razavi, Khuzestan, and Tehran. Outstanding teams from these qualifiers will earn a place in the Russian Super Cup tournament.
Alamian concluded that such competitions foster discovery of top athletic talents, strengthen team spirit, and promote vibrancy among the university’s student body.
