Parliamentary Education Committee Chair Underscores the Role of Teachers in Fostering a Productive Next Generation

Alireza Monadi, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Research, and Technology, emphasized at the Nasibe campus welcome for new student-teachers that “science is the key to national prosperity.” He asserted it is the teachers’ duty to teach productivity to youth.

He reflected on his four decades of passionate teaching experience and reaffirmed the parliament’s unwavering support for the education sector. Highlighting ongoing education reform—where formal schooling now commences under government stewardship at ages 5 and 6—he noted: “Scientific findings confirm the necessity of early education.”

Monadi cited Iran’s scientific and technological achievements, from advanced servers to pharmaceuticals and nanotechnology, and stated, “Our students have demonstrated that knowledge truly is wealth.” He encouraged student-teachers to learn how to instill productivity in their students, stating, “If you can convey this concept effectively, you will undoubtedly be successful educators.”

He urged entrants to see teaching as a divine mission defined by love, faith, and dedication, beyond mere employment.
