16th Meeting of the Farhangian University Board of Trustees in Kerman with University Chancellor and Provincial Governor

The 16th meeting of the Board of Trustees for Kerman province’s Farhangian University took place with the attendance of Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei (Chancellor) and Dr. Mohammad Ali Talebi (Governor of Kerman). The session reviewed the province’s university status, ongoing initiatives, and expectations.

Dr. Borzooei linked the university’s pivotal status to the Supreme Leader’s repeated emphasis over the last 12 years, highlighting an influx of top-tier students and a rising appreciation for teaching among the public and officials. Out of 600,000 applicants, 27,000 were admitted as new student-teachers this academic year.

Governor Talebi applauded the university and its students but lamented infrastructural shortcomings, pledging provincial cooperation in hosting the forthcoming Congress of Martyr Student-Teachers. The congress is scheduled to take place in Esfand (February–March) this year, with Governor Talebi appointed as Head of the Organizing Committee.
