Chancellor of Farhangian University: "Synergy and Unity Will Elevate Farhangian University in the Country's Higher Education System"

While addressing faculty and staff at Farhangian University of Khuzestan, Dr. Rajab Ali Borzooei acknowledged the efforts and dedication of colleagues on the frontlines of education within the province and outlined the university's achievements and upcoming plans.

Speaking to the university’s public relations office, Dr. Borzooei said: “During this period, with a focus on organizing essential infrastructure and securing effective funds, we have succeeded in consolidating the university’s standing in development plans, particularly the Seventh Development Plan.”

He regarded the approval of a new structural license as a significant achievement, noting, “Following persistent efforts, this resolution was approved by the Council for the Expansion of Universities, and 7,200 new recruitment positions were finalized and unprecedentedly announced.”

Referencing substantial growth in the university's budget, Dr. Borzooei stated that investment in construction has multiplied and the budget for repairs and equipment has increased twenty-fold. He also noted advancements in academic and cultural fields, mentioning Farhangian University’s increase from publishing one to twelve accredited ISC journals, as well as the establishment of wellness rooms at the university's cultural and sports centers for the first time.

He stressed the importance of campus aesthetics and organization and highlighted the progress made in national dormitory and educational projects initiated in the province.

Addressing faculty concerns, Dr. Borzooei discussed the elevation of academic programs and the expansion of majors and capacities, improved faculty and staff compensation within legal frameworks, the equipping of laboratories—including the signing of contracts for AI-powered simulation labs—and the acceleration of textbook review and publication. He emphasized improved welfare facilities and the utilization of Ministry of Education benefits.

He concluded by reiterating his appreciation for the ongoing collaboration and expressed hope, "With God’s help and the efforts of everyone involved, Farhangian University will rise to its rightful place within national higher education."
