Documentary “Mehr” Unveiled on the Second Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Student Teacher Faezeh Rahimi

The unveiling ceremony of the documentary “Mehr” was held in the presence of the esteemed family of the martyr at Shahid Bahonar Hall of the Central Organization of Farhangian University.

According to the Public Relations Office of Farhangian University, on Monday, 29 December 2025 (8 Dey 1404), the unveiling ceremony of the documentary “Mehr” was held concurrently with the second anniversary of the martyrdom of student teacher Faezeh Rahimi. The event was attended by her respected family, Brigadier General Abdolreza Azadi, Head of the Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Values of the IRGC and Basij, Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of Farhangian University, along with a number of university deputies, officials, and student teachers. The ceremony took place at Shahid Bahonar Hall of the university’s Central Organization.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Hamidreza Ebrahimi, Vice Chancellor for Cultural Affairs of Farhangian University, emphasized that the path of the martyrs serves as a guiding light for the university’s mission. He stated that, following specific guidance from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Farhangian University has adopted an approach aimed at introducing distinguished role models among martyrs to new generations of student teachers through the organization of specialized assemblies and congresses dedicated to martyred student teachers.

Highlighting the exemplary nature of martyrs’ lives for society, Ebrahimi noted that while the lives of all martyrs are instructive and convey valuable lessons, martyrs from each professional or social group offer particular lessons relevant to that group. He expressed appreciation for the cooperation and support of university officials and student teachers in organizing congresses honoring martyred student teachers, and voiced hope that, with divine assistance, the National Congress of Martyred Student Teachers would be held on 9 May 2026 (19 Ordibehesht 1405), coinciding with the anniversary of the Supreme Leader’s presence at Farhangian University.

Explaining the process of organizing these congresses, Ebrahimi stated that, initially, comprehensive and accurate information on martyred student teachers was not readily available. However, following their identification and the collection of data and oral histories from their families and survivors, specialized and purpose-driven commemorative events were organized to properly honor their memory.

Referring to the wide range of high-quality media productions created as part of these congresses, he added that numerous cultural and media works—including documentaries, short films, anthems, books and encyclopedias, motion graphics, music videos, and theatrical productions—have been produced to help establish a significant intellectual and cultural movement centered on the martyrs.

Ebrahimi also announced the identification of 894 families of martyred student teachers and highlighted ongoing efforts to identify and document the families of other martyred student teachers. He concluded by stating that drawing inspiration from the martyrs marks the beginning of a luminous path toward achieving the goal of training teachers aligned with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.

Following the screening of the documentary “Mehr,” Brigadier General Abdolreza Azadi described Faezeh Rahimi as deeply devoted to Islam, the Islamic Revolution, and Wilayat (Islamic leadership). He noted that the documentary clearly illustrated her profound love for the Supreme Leader, Wilayat, and the school of thought of Martyr General Haj Qasem Soleimani.

General Azadi described Martyr Soleimani as a symbol of resistance for the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation, adding that he sacrificed his life on a path of divine light and attained martyrdom at the hands of one of the most ruthless figures of the modern era. He emphasized that Martyr Soleimani undoubtedly remains a role model for future generations and admirers of the culture of resistance.

In closing, General Azadi expressed his gratitude to the Chancellor of Farhangian University, university officials, the organizers of the Congress of Martyred Student Teachers, and the producers of the documentary “Mehr” for their dedicated efforts.
