National Association of School Builders Emphasizes Activation of Farhangian University Working Group and Enhancement of Teacher Education Quality

The Chancellor of the National Association of School Builders of Iran, emphasizing that Farhangian University is the heart of the country’s education system, called for the active revitalization of the Farhangian University Working Group within the association and a focused effort to improve the quality of teacher education and training.

 

According to the Public Relations Office of Farhangian University, on Sunday, 28 December 2025 (7 Dey), the first meeting of the Assembly of Farhangian University Philanthropists of Tehran Province was held at Shahid Bahonar Faculty, with the participation of Hamidreza Shah-Hosseini, Chancellor of the National Association of School Builders of Iran; Rajab Ali Borzooei, Chancellor of Farhangian University; a number of philanthropists supporting the university; and relevant officials.

During the meeting, the Chancellor of the National Association of School Builders referred to the challenges facing the quality of education in the country and described Farhangian University as the central axis for reforming the educational system. He stressed the need for a shift in approaches, greater utilization of philanthropic capacities to strengthen infrastructure, and serious attention to improving the quality of teacher education.

 

He further noted that the continuous and targeted activation of the Farhangian University Working Group at both national and provincial levels is essential for addressing key issues facing the university, including educational spaces, student dormitories, and livelihood support for teachers.

In continuation of the session, Ne’mat Bani-Adam, a member of the Tehran School Builders Association, highlighted the distinctive role of Farhangian University in training committed and capable human resources. He called for a comprehensive assessment and improvement of the physical, educational, and sports facilities of the university’s faculties, and announced the association’s readiness to mobilize public participation and philanthropic support to address the needs of Farhangian University, particularly in Tehran Province.

At the conclusion of the meeting, following the presentation of views and perspectives by all attending philanthropists, participants emphasized the importance of holding regular sessions, strengthening cooperation between Farhangian University and the National Association of School Builders, and ensuring the practical follow-up of approved measures aimed at enhancing the quality of education and teacher training.
