The first working group meeting on PQT, followed the approval of the meeting dated 7 June 2015, was held on 15 July with the participation of heads, deputies, representatives of the Departments of the University, representatives of heads of state and individual members in the Administrative Building of the University. Professor Mehrmohammadi, the acting president of the University, emphasized on the necessity of Professional Qualification Test (PQT) for recruiting teachers to prevent the emission of individuals with little merit and competency to education system. Dr. Kiany , the vice president of the university and head of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance Deputy as well as Dr. Kabiri gave adequate explanation on the issue and reported that the pilot scheme of PQT has already been started. In another part of the meeting, professor Mehrmohammadi stressed the need to reach an agreement on the concept of a comprehensive and qualification test. He, finally, gave invaluable recommendations in this regard.
