The fifth meeting of the Board of Trustees of Farhangian University (FU) headed by Dr. Fani, the Minister of Education of I.R. Iran was held on 29 July 2015.

The fifth meeting of the Board of Trustees of Farhangian University (FU) headed by Dr. Fani, the Minister of Education of I.R. Iran was held on 29 July 2015. Participants in the meeting were Professor Mehrmohammadi (Acting President of FU), Mr. Mokhber Dezfooli (Secretary of the Supreme Revolutionary Cultural Council), Hojjat al-Islam Mohammadian (Member of Supreme Cultural Revolution and head office of the Supreme Leader in universities), Dr. Shariati Niasar (Deputy Director of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology), Dr. Vaez Mahdavi, Dr.  Rezaei, Dr. Salimi Jahromy, Hojjat al-Islam Mohajeri and Dr. Masihe Parsanya. At the meeting, a total of 26 working orders were presented for review and decision making. Some of these working orders included “amendments to the budget 1393 (2014)”, “detailed budget 1394 (2015)”, “the operational program of 1394 (2015)”, etc. The general performance of CFU, charter of reviewing the quality of education and teacher training curriculum, charter of socio-cultural activities developed for students, the establishment of 19 offices for the Supreme Leader's representatives in campuses, etc. received significant appreciation by the committee members. In the fifth meeting of the Board of Trustees of Farhangian University, the Strategic Plan was evaluated.  Mr. Adham (Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Education) and Mr. Salimi Jahromy (Head Center for Manpower Planning, Ministry of Education) were elected and appointed as the “True Members of the Board of Trustees” to enhance the interactions between FU and Departments of the Ministry of Education involved in planning.
