Teacher students’ Sports Olympiad in Zanjan

Teacher students’ Sports Olympiad began with participation of Prof.  Mahmoud Mehrmohammadi, acting president of Farhangian University, Mr. Ansari, Governor of Zanjan, Dr. Shahidi, Secretary General for teacher students’ Sports Olympiad in Farhangian University, Mr. kavandi, Head of the Cultural Olympiad, teachers, educators, and all branches of FU in Zanjan province. 

In the opening session of the event, Prof.  Mahmoud Mehrmohammadi, acting president of Farhangian University, said that : Farhangian University (FU) is to promote sports culture. And through doing this significant endeavor we can provide the attitudes needed to develop and promote a culture of sport in the education system because teacher students take the basic steps in the future and they are the best representatives of the education system. Prof. Mehrmohammadi noted that the achievement of moral virtues would be possible through physical education. He added that sport and vitality is the best platform for development and FU teacher students’ academic life should be associated with pleasure and happiness. He added that this is based on the intentions of the Supreme Leader on the education of youth, i.e. the refinement and sport, should be taken into consideration as a serious issue beside other studies.
