Dr. Roshandel was Appointed as the new Vice President of Education and Higher Education of FTEU

“Education is the Achilles heel of any universities, and power comes out of pen and education” Prof. Khanifar stated at the ceremony of appointing the new Vice president of education and Higher Education of FTEU.

A ceremony in which Prof. Khanifar the Acting president of FTEU and other authorities were present was held on 03 February, 2018 to gratitude and thank the valuable work of the ex-Vice president (Dr. Nematollah Moosapour) and to introduce the new Vice President of Education and Higher Education (Dr. Taher Roshandel Arbatani).

At the beginning of the ceremony, Prof. Khanifar congratulated and commemorated the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Later he said that Education cannot be neglected. “If Education is done correctly, the economy and politics of society will be right, in other words, all social harms rooted in wrong education.” Said Prof. Khanifar. He believed that "Facilities are to be created not to be found”

The Acting president of FTEU argued that if a nation wants to grow, it should live in the future, however it must take a step in the past (use of experience) and two steps in the future. He emphasized that the predecessors are the mines of experience and FTEU is to be stay in touch with Dr.Moosapoor. Referring to two distinct academic missions of FTEU, Prof. Khanifar stated: “FTEU is responsible for providing teachers with teaching and psychology techniques.” He described teacher training as a major mission and said: “A teacher can sometimes change people's lives with a word”.

Also, Dr. Masoupour, the ex-Vice president of Education ad Higher Education of FTEU with refer to the mission of the FTEU in educating the teacher as the messenger of the revolution to the future, said: "I thank God, and honorably welcome the new Deputy.

Dr. Roshandel Arbanati, the new vice president of Education and Higher Education, expressed his satisfaction and said "I believe FTEU is very influential and can be more effective in the fate of the community." He stated that if we are looking for growth and development in society, we must invest in education, adding that the “FTEU is at the base of the evolution of education.”

Dr. Roshandel highlighted his most important and fundamental program as follows:

• Reforming the faculty members’ pyramid ,
• Providing study opportunities for faculties,
• Adjusting student-teacher ratio,
• Developing a new educational methods in the context of ICT,
• Paying Attention to research in education,
• Attracting the top rank students to be a teacher,
• Emphasizing on teaching and learning skills,
• Focusing on  the development of short-term and electronic training,
• Setting up doctoral courses, and
• Taking advantage of the world's top experiences in the field of
