[[{"content_id":72859,"content_number":0,"portal_id":2,"lang_id":"en","content_title":"Research Institute for Teacher Education","content_rtitr":"","content_short_title":null,"content_summary":"","content_summary_fill":0,"content_body":"The Research Institute for Teacher Education affiliated to the Farhangian Teacher Education University pursues the following two missions:\r\n\r\n1-Production of domestic science on teacher education in Iran\r\n\r\n2-Conducting comparative studies to transfer the latest global knowledge on teacher education\r\n\r\nTo do the above tasks, the Research Institute for Teacher Education has defined some strategies which are as follows:\r\n\r\n1- Probing into different aspects of teacher education including all issues pertaining to students, faculty members, educational programs, research and scientific needs, designing and developing the required technologies for optimization of teacher education process and socio-cultural issues.\r\n\r\n2-Translation of classic and modern texts on teacher education and domesticating them based on the national and Islamic needs\r\n\r\nTo materialize the above objectives, the Research Institute for Teacher Education has established four departments which include: 1) teacher training and apprenticeship 2) measuring and appraising teaching competence, 3) psychology and professional development of teachers, 4) teacher education pedagogy and curriculum development.
