Farhangian University Launches Capacity Plan to Admit at Least 30,000 New Student‑Teachers by Fall 2026

President Borzooei calls for “QualityCentered Development through Unity” as the guiding vision of the university’s growth

Dr. RajabAli Borzooei, President of Farhangian University, has issued directives to the university’s vicepresidents and provincial presidents to accelerate capacity building efforts that will enable the admission of a minimum of 30,000 new studentteachers in the academic year beginning Mehr 1405 (Fall 2026).

According to the university’s Public Relations Office, Dr. Borzooei made the announcement during a meeting with members of the university’s board and provincial directors. He noted that comprehensive plans for the upcoming year will soon be finalized, aligning provincial implementation with centralized policymaking, leadership, and oversight from the university’s headquarters.

Reiterating the university’s annual motto — “QualityCentered Development through Unity” — Dr. Borzooei emphasized that the expansion of the university must continue steadily to meet the Ministry of Education’s projected demand, ultimately reaching a capacity of 40,000 to 50,000 studentteachers per year.

“Expansion without a foundation of quality is meaningless,” he asserted, explaining that the university’s growth strategy will be anchored in quality monitoring and continuous assessment through the oversight of specialized departments.

Dr. Borzooei described unity among all university members as essential for institutional success:  “Just as national victory in the current battle was achieved through the unity of the people, government, and armed forces, our university must also remain united in addressing all provincial and organizational matters. Unity is the pillar of progress.”

Highlighting the importance of maintaining continuity despite wartime challenges, he instructed provincial offices to ensure uninterrupted operations and urged swift reconstruction of wardamaged facilities.

“Please send detailed visual reports of damaged facilities immediately to accelerate budget allocation,” he said. Borzooei also called for responsible financial management, underscoring the necessity of prudence and resource efficiency in all sectors: “Given the current national circumstances, saving and strategic spending must be among our top priorities to ensure yearround stability.”

The president urged 17 provinces with approved construction permits to begin infrastructure projects without delay. He reaffirmed that the primary aim of the university’s oversight system is guidance and prevention, with evaluation focusing on “support, mentoring, and anticipation” rather than punitive control.

He also emphasized vigilance in virtual education, calling on regional directors to guarantee the quality and consistency of online classes through close monitoring of faculty schedules and student participation.

“No disruption in the learning process will be acceptable,” he stated firmly.

Dr. Borzooei encouraged ongoing media engagement through the university’s regional task forces and local broadcasting networks, suggesting the organization of media meetings at provincial education centers involving faculty, studentteachers, and administrative staff to share the university’s ongoing achievements and resilience.

Reaffirming the university’s strategic goal, he said:  “This year, we must be fully prepared to accommodate at least 30,000 new studentteachers. Every province must maximize its environmental and educational resources to create the necessary conditions for this historic intake.”

He also directed that the graduation process for all eligible studentteachers be expedited, ensuring swift transition into the education system.

Addressing compensation concerns for nonacademic staff, Dr. Borzooei said ongoing correspondence and followups were underway to reach positive resolutions. He further highlighted the importance of leveraging the capacity of public benefactors and charitable donors to advance the university’s developmental goals — particularly in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

In conclusion, Dr. Borzooei expressed his gratitude for the dedication and resilience of provincial presidents and the entire university community—especially during the “Ramadan War” period—and voiced optimism for the coming year:  “In 1405, under the banner of QualityCentered Development through Unity, let us move forward with a national vision. All branches and departments should seize this unique moment of strong governmental and parliamentary support—from the President, the Minister of Education, the Minister of Science, and the Planning and Budget Organization—to position Farhangian University ever more powerfully at the heart of Iran’s educational future.”
