President of Farhangian University Issues Message of Condolence on the Martyrdom of Two Student‑Teachers

Dr. Rajab‑Ali Borzooei honors the memory of student‑teachers Amir‑Mohammad Esmaeilu and Amir‑Hossein Saljouqi.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God; some of them have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting, and they have never changed in the least.”

(Qur’an 33:23)

The hearts of the Farhangian University community are filled with sorrow over the martyrdom of our beloved student‑teachers Amir‑Mohammad Esmaeilu and Amir‑Hossein Saljouqi.

These young men, whose eyes were filled with hope and whose hearts were illuminated by faith, had chosen the noble path of education and human development—a path rooted in compassion, humanity, and enlightenment. Today, they have joined the radiant caravan of martyrs alongside their martyred Imam and leader; a caravan that has long served as a guiding light for the nation and an enduring inspiration for future generations.

These two dear students were not merely university students preparing for a career in the classroom; they were bearers of the sacred mission of nurturing human beings—a mission grounded in faith, ethics, and the love of illuminating minds and hearts. Their martyrdom has forever connected them with the illustrious community of martyrs of education and teacher formation, those who dedicated their lives to the growth and elevation of humanity and now rest in an eternal and honored station.

They stand among the standard‑bearers of the path of steadfastness and resistance, confronting the cruelty and oppression of hostile forces, and with the ultimate sacrifice of their lives they lovingly nourished the flourishing tree of the Islamic Revolution with their own blood.

Today, although their absence weighs heavily upon us, the light of their path will never fade. I call upon our dear student‑teachers to transform this sorrow and this heroic moment into a renewed covenant—an unwavering commitment to continue the path these two noble martyrs followed, in continuation of the legacy of more than 1,200 martyrs of teacher education.

Farhangian University will proudly preserve the memory and name of these dear ones within its collective conscience. We will continue their path with strength, love, and faith, for lighting a lamp in the heart of a human being is itself the continuation of the martyrs’ journey.

I extend my condolences and salutations to His Holiness Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the esteemed families of Esmaeilu and Saljouqi. I pray to Almighty God to grant these beloved martyrs the highest ranks in the hereafter and to bestow upon their grieving families peace, comfort, and patience illuminated by divine grace.

Rajab‑Ali Borzooei

President of Farhangian University
