Signing of the Cooperation Agreement between Farhangian University and the National Science Foundation of Iran
A cooperation agreement has been signed between Farhangian University and the National Science Foundation of Iran (INSF), which is under the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy of the Presidency. According to the public relations department of Farhangian University, this agreement was facilitated by the Office of Research and Technology within the framework of the INSF’s program to support goal-oriented universities and research institutions in priority and strategic areas related to teacher education and training.
The approved topics for research project support, post-doctoral initiatives, and master's theses include:
- Foundations and governance models for the teacher training system in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
- Innovative teaching-research approaches in the fields of science, environment, and sustainable development.
This agreement is valid for three years and can pave the way for knowledge production, offering scientific solutions to the challenges in the country's education system, and strengthening the scientific authority of the university in the field of education and training. It is noteworthy that a special training workshop to familiarize interested parties with the processes of submitting and evaluating research proposals, along with a call for research proposal submissions under this agreement, will soon be announced by the Office of Research and Technology at the university.
