Message from the President of Farhangian University on the Anniversary of the Liberation of Khorramshahr and the Day of Resistance, Sacrifice, and Victory

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Dear esteemed colleagues, valued professors, and exemplary student teachers of the second phase of the Islamic Revolution,

Greetings to the heroic makers of resistance and the leaders in the field of education and training, who alongside the nation have bravely prevented any conspiracies from the sworn enemies of proud Islamic Iran for nearly three months.

June 3rd, a day on which, according to the words of the Great Architect of the Revolution, God granted freedom to dear Iran, is a reminder of the moment when the steadfast will of a faithful nation demonstrated that the liberation of Khorramshahr, and the Khorramshahrs thereafter, could only be achieved through reliance on God and the valiant resolve of Iranians. The liberation of Khorramshahr manifested this everlasting truth that "We can." Khorramshahr is no longer merely a name, but a symbol of operations across all domains, representing resilient and proud Iran.

The glorious history of the Islamic Revolution is filled with conscious acts of resistance. From the dawn of victory achieved with empty hands and divine will, defeating tyranny, to the impenetrable wall of the Holy Defense standing against waves of enmity; all indicate one fundamental truth: victory is the fruit of the tree of resistance.

A look back at the valiant defense of Iran against the American-Zionist front and their cowardly allies during the 12-Day War, the Ramadan War, and other battles within the resistance front demonstrates that the unchanging divine tradition is the supremacy of blood over the sword.

Today, at this historical juncture, the compelling words of our wise and martyr leader, who proclaimed: "Khorramshahrs lie ahead," serve as a reminder of our deep responsibilities. Today, our sworn enemy is seeking to seize the mental and intellectual bastions of this territory in different battlefields to tilt the scales in its favor.

We must remain vigilant and actively embrace the teachings of the founder of the Islamic Revolution and our martyr leader, alongside the 47-year achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to neutralize enemy plots and malevolence.

Farhangian University, as the vibrant hub for nurturing the future generations of builders, stands at the forefront in this battlefront.

Esteemed professors! You are the intellectual architects of the educational front in this soft war who must enlighten the community with scholarly elucidation and instill hope while opening the intellectual Khorramshahrs.

And you, dear student teachers! Designated as officers of the soft war, heirs to the blood of martyrs and architects of a new Islamic civilization, know that every conscious and proactive lesson, every book, and every word you share with students is an arrow aimed at the heart of an enemy seeking to extinguish the flame of insight. You must strive to liberate the Khorramshahrs of knowledge, technology, ethics, and national identity through evaluative struggles and diligent scholarship.

June 3rd conveys the message that there are no dead ends. If we are currently embroiled in sanctions and hybrid and cognitive wars, it is yet another sign of our progress. Resistance is the inevitable path to reaching the peaks of advancement.

On the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, we renew our allegiance with the exalted spirit of Imam Khomeini and the noble martyrs, especially those who served as teachers and students, pledging that we will stand until our last drop of blood for the advancement of education in our beloved Iran and by cultivating a resilient, faithful, and capable generation, lay the groundwork for liberating the great Khorramshahrs ahead of us.

Wishing for the victory of the righteousness against global arrogance, health and safety for our remarkable leader and the agents of the Islamic system, and the fighters of the righteous front.
